BACKGROUND

The barriers to enter the iPod, iPhone and iPad repair marketplace are remarkably low. This low hurdle increases the likelihood that individuals or businesses can enter the market and provide anything from poor customer service all the way to conducting fraudulent activities. Established, legitimate iPod, iPhone and iPad repair companies that have been in business for years and have consistently provided first-rate products and services have recognized the potential harm such entities may have on our industry, and as a result formed Repair-Consortium.org in August 2009.
